External Calls
- Dial “9” to get an outside line.
- Enter the phone number you wish to call.
- You do not need to dial “1” for long distance or for “800” calls.
Emergency Calls
- Dial “911” or dial “9,” then “911.”
Internal Calls
Internal calls can be slightly more complicated. There are multiple ways to dial internally, extension to extension.
- You can dial the three-digit extension for the person you want to contact or their designated speed-dial number.
- If you know what directory they would be on, you can navigate the “Contacts” menu using the scroll keys. Look for the person you want, then press “Call.”
- If you have called a person recently, you can press “Redial,” then scroll through the menu to find them and press “Call” to contact them again.
- If you wish to voice call someone and intercom the two phones together, select the “Voice Dial” button and then enter their three-digit extension. The person you are calling will hear three short tones to notify them that they will enter a voice call. With the two phones now intercommed together, you can just speak into the speaker phone without having to use the handsets.
