Using the Call Park Feature on the Avaya Phone System
Call park is a function that puts a call on a system-wide hold that may be picked up by any other phone in the system.
- To put a call into park mode, press the “Park 1” button, and all other phones will have their Park 1 button light up red.
- You can alert the intended recipient that they have a call on Park 1, and they may retrieve it by pressing the “Park 1” button on their phone.
- If you have multiple park positions, you can place a caller on any one of the positions.
- To retrieve a parked call, select the appropriate park position. The outside caller information will appear on the display. Then press “Connect.” You will then be connected to the caller in that parked position.
